The team at Allergy Group NJ is dedicated to providing the best care for our patients suffering from allergies, asthma, eczema and other allergic conditions. Our experienced physicians and staff are passionate about providing personalized treatments tailored to each individual's needs.
Our specialty is oral immunotherapy(OIT) for food allergies. This novel new treatment reduces an individual's sensitivity to a food to the point that it can be eaten without a reaction.
Our OIT Program: We have successfully treated hundreds of children and adults. OIT offers the possibility of having a more normal life with freedom from the need for strict food avoidance.
Our Providers
Linden Ho MD
Dr. Ho obtained his Medical Degree at the UCLA School of Medicine followed by advanced training at Oregon Sciences Health Center in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. He subsequently completed an allergy-immunology fellowship at the renowned National Jewish Health medical center in Denver, Colorado. He is board-certified in pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology and has decades of experience with all aspects of allergy and immunology. He is particularly dedicated to serving the needs of children with anaphylactic food allergies and established our oral immunotherapy (OIT) program to offer this potentially life-changing treatment.
Sonia Guirguis MD
Dr. Guirguis earned her Medical Degree at Ain-Shams University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt. Her training was completed at Lutheran Medical Center in pediatrics, followed by an allergy fellowship at Cornell University Medical Center in New York City. She is board-certified in pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Guirguis has extensive experience in the field of allergy and immunology. Her patients love her for her understanding, compassion and devotion. She is passionate about providing the best possible care to her patients.
Maria Bohn APN
Maria Bohn graduated magna cum laude from the Seton Hall BSN program. She then completed her Nurse Practitioner degree at Monmouth University. Prior to joining Allergy Group NJ, she provided primary care and chronic disease management both in private practice and at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital & Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital.
She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified bariatric nurse through the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She is also a registered dietician and provides counseling to our patients who have a restricted diets due to their multiple food allergies.
